About Froggy Bottom Guitars

We recognize and appreciate that instrument making is a unique profession in many ways. Our customers are musicians, for whom the guitar is a tool for self-expression. No two people require the exact same set of qualities in a guitar any more than two people can agree completely on the most perfect painting or piece of music. It is our job and privilege to serve as translators between a player’s mind’s ear and the world of wood and wires. We ask lots of questions and listen very carefully in order to design and build an instrument that will meet and exceed each player’s hopes and expectations.

It’s tremendously satisfying to work directly with a player, and to come up with a guitar that they’ve only imagined is possible. When all is said and done, the guitars speak for themselves; the proof is in the pudding. We DO enjoy our work!
