Model D-12

People have been asking us to make twelve fret dreadnoughts since 1971. Since we have a lot of fun watching players compare our 14 fret D models to those of other builders whose dreadnoughts are considered exceptional, we finally thought it would be fun to do a traditional 12 fret, “slope-shoulder” “D”. We’ve always been known as 12 fret aficionados, why not see what we can do with our own spin on this tried and true guitar?

"I can't tell you how excited I am today, playing your Dreadnought. Not only does it look the business, but it has a wonderful action and playability. The range of tone, from soft and sweet to loud and brash is extraordinary, and there are no buzzes. It has that fantastic, 'elastic' zing which only the best guitars have and yet you can make the bass really boom.

"How do you do it?"
