Model L
The model L, with a 13” wide lower bout, is the smallest guitar in the Froggy Bottom family. Like our P-12 and P-14 models, this is a lot of guitar in a small package. While we’ve never seen a parlor guitar that’s a proverbial “banjo killer” played without amplification, our parlor guitars have a well earned reputation for exceptional tone AND volume. We’ve never had to make excuses for their small size. The new Model L is no exception.
While it’s standard 24.75” scale length gives this little guitar a lot of strength without sacrificing tonal complexity, its small body size also allows us some very interesting possibilities. Shortening the scale a bit make both tenor and high-strung options very enticing. How would you like yours served up? Plain, fancy? A standard six-string or high-strung? A tenor, perhaps? Mahogany back and sides or spectacular Brazilian rosewood. The choices are yours, as always.
