Kristina Stykos, Musician/Producer
One of the rare natives of Ithaca, NY and its music scene, Kristina is a musician, recording engineer and producer of singular vision. In true Vermont fashion, she is also an avid and expert gardener.
Founder of Pepperbox Studios/Thunder Ridge Records in Chelsea, Kristina records and produces contemporary and traditional acoustic music while remaining active as a performer and songwriter. She is perhaps best known in Vermont for her cracker jack rhythm guitar playing, accompanying some of the regions finest fiddlers and singers. She can currently be heard performing and recording with songwriter Bow Thayer and fiddler Patrick Ross in the trio "Holy Plow".
You will find her shining presence in many Froggy Bottom Guitar ads. She and Michael live in a rambling house off the grid, on the top of a mountain in Chelsea, Vermont, up where the plow turns around. http://www.kristinastykos.com
