With the revival of interest in older 12 fret guitars, many of our clients have found this 12-fret jumbo to be their favorite instrument. Coupling the richness and balance of a 12-fret guitar with the power of by an instrument of this size, the B12 remains a popular choice.
With a longer scale length of 27″, the Model B is also our standard Froggy Bottom Baritone guitar. With this scale, these are usually tuned down to either B or C and strung .015 – .070″.

B12 Twelve String Guitars
We have made a number of B Model 12-strings with a 25.25” scale for use with light gauge strings (.012 – .054″) at standard pitch.
Available as a 12-string with a 26 ” scale (originally designed for Blues master Paul Geremia), this is THE model for those of us who love the old Stella 12-strings of Willie McTell and Leadbelly. This scale guitar is designed be tuned down a whole tone.
More stable than any instruments I have ever used
Michael built me a Brazilian rosewood 12-string with the old German spruce on it. That 12-string did exactly what I wanted it to do. I could use it at lower tunings with medium gauge strings and I could get quite a growl out of it and it would intonate properly.
Michael’s guitars are more stable than any instruments I have ever used. Here in New England, we live in a climate where things change so often. And his guitars cycle a lot less than the instruments of other guitar makers.
